Dear Club Members,

It is with deep regret and sadness that we inform you of the passing of Lis Wilkes, wife of our esteemed chairman, Mr. Anthony Wilkes and mother of Henry Wilkes. Our hearts are filled with sorrow and our thoughts and prayers are with Ant, Henry and his family during this difficult time.

Lis will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm smile, kind-hearted nature, and unwavering support for our club will forever be remembered. Her presence added tremendous value and joy to our club’s journey, and her absence will be deeply felt (especially her teas).

To honor and celebrate the life of Lis, a memorial service will be held on Friday 22nd December at Eldersfield Church. The service will commence at 11.30 and we kindly request all club members who wish to pay their respects and offer condolences to attend and stand in solidarity with Ant, Henry and his family. Please wear bright colours (purple was Lis favourite colour) and not black if possible.
