Apperley Cricket Club Welcome 2025

Happy New Year to everyone!

Firstly, a massive thank you to Anthony Wilkes for the last ten years as Chair of the Committee and for all of his hard work and efforts in navigating us to where we are today. He will continue to be a big part of the Club.

Following the recent AGM, we welcome Kerry Hall as the new Chair and Tom Radcliffe as Director of Cricket and as new members of the Committee. Both have been heavily involved in the youth section at the Club for a number of years and will aim to add real value to drive the Club forwards.

Kerry has been involved in the junior section for a few years as an admin manager. Both her children Archie and Olivia play for the junior section with Archie venturing into the senior teams last season. Kerry herself has returned to cricket after a long hiatus and now plays for our ladies team. 

Tom is an active member of the Club. He is a qualified coach within the youth section and has three daughters that play within the girls programme. He has played within the senior section at the Club as well as being a player within the county pathway in his youth and has featured at other clubs in the county at various levels.

The first meeting of the New Year is in January where we plan ahead for the 2025 season and map out the plan for the year building on what is already in place and adding new ideas to enable growth across the board at the Club.
